Plans, organises and manages the Corporate Banking department in order to maximise the Bank’s market share, profitability and volume on its range of products and services.
Develops, recommends and implements marketing strategies and plans consistent with established goals in Corporate Banking . Constantly endeavours to improve the Bank’s competitive position by review of the plans and policies. Sets goals, objectives and measurement standards for the Relationship Management team .Ensures that departmental efforts are co-ordinated in meeting customer requirements.
To evaluate lending proposals for Indian Corporates and approve or recommend such proposals to Senior Credit Risk Managers. Ensure that proposals received are as per approved Target Market – Risk Acceptance Criteria and deviations thereof have been highlighted by Business Unit.
To provide strong credit support to the Senior Credit Risk Managers in implementing the strategy and business plans agreed by the GM & CEO with the Management Committee for the Bank in India. To assist in establishing credit controls and procedures and also help the business lines grow, such that the business runs seamlessly, with zero NPL as the target.
